Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to inform you that the Audubon Elementary School will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2020-2021.

What does this mean for you and your children attending Audubon Elementary School?

Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students of Audubon Elementary School are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. There will be a charge if your student takes an extra serving or has an afternoon milk. Snack milk is $2.00 per week for grades K-2.

If you qualify for a fee waiver, please contact Carla for a waiver survey to fill out and send it back to the school. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact Carla or Natalie at 712-563-2607.

The 5-12 building did not qualify for this program. If you have students in this building and believe you would qualify for free or reduced meals and haven’t filled out the Iowa Eligibility application, we can mail or email you one and they are on our website.
