On Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, students in the Ag 2 classes (sophomores) at Audubon High School presented to K-4th graders at the elementary with various agricultural lessons to celebrate National Ag Day. Sophomore students developed their own agricultural lesson plans and materials to deliver a hands-on mini lesson to elementary students.
Mini Lessons included: Wildlife Tracks, Small Animals, Dairy Production, General Ag Facts, Fruit Production
This activity was enjoyed by all involved. Agricultural Education Instructors are Mrs. Brittany Elmquist and Miss Mia Gibson (Iowa State University Student Teacher).
